My funny boy!!

Tyler is a hoot! Not a day goes by that he doesn't make me laugh. He just cracks me up. It can make homeschooling a challenge at times, but at the same time very entertaining. It's quite interesting getting to homeschool Ryan and Tyler, being in the same grade and having them be so different. They are so much fun. We have Ryan who is very factual and just gives me the answers straight out and to the point and is ready to move on to the next one. Well, then there's Tyler. He purposely tells me every possible answer EXCEPT the right answer with a HUGE grin on his face. Today was one of those days. In math if I ask him...what's 4 + 4 he'd yell out, "It's 1 mom, yep, it's 1." With that Big ol grin on his face. In their language book today they were supposed to fill in a word to complete three different sentences. It gave them three choices of words and they had to put them in the appropriate sentence. The first sentence was "Tim fell off his _______" The choices were bike, cast, leg. Tyler read me the sentence and the three choices and said, "it's leg..yep...Tim fell off his leg". Again...with that big ol' grin on his face. I tell ya, I have my work cut out for me. Ryan just sits there with the three blanks filled in ready to move on. It's rather hilarious some days and frustrating other days. =) Either way, never a dull moment in the Kirkland house!!

And yes, can you guess who is behind this underwear?? Of course, it's Tyler. Gotta love him. Thanks for making me laugh everyday!! You are a joy!!
